Purpose

The Alpha Alpha Tau Omega Chapter (AATO) of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, (AKA), is offering three (3) scholarships for college students and/or a working mother who desires to continue their post educational experience pursuing a non-traditional degree (online or in-person) at a two-year or four-year college or university.  Each scholarship has its own criteria and eligibility. (Please see details on application)

AKA began humbly as the vision of nine college students on the campus of Howard University in 1908 with a desire to serve their communities at large and all mankind. Since then, the Sorority has flourished into an impactful global organization of over 300,000 college-trained members, bound by the bonds of sisterhood and empowered by a commitment to servant-leadership that is both domestic and international in its scope.

AATO was chartered on May 16, 2021. Its members are dedicated to serving the Middletown, Odessa, and Townsend (M.O.T.) communities at large in addition to all mankind.
