The 115th Founders' Day was like an in-state cluster. Held at the premiere and only HBCU in Delaware, being welcomed and directed by a greeter as sorors of all ages, especially seasoned sorors entered the beautiful Bank of America Lobby viewed its transformation beginning with a huge AKA Balloon Wall, all of the symbolic directional signs like the "pink cove" and "ivy lane," sorors networking, while sitting, standing, and shopping presented a unique experience! Sorors reminisced about their "school daze," and the founders of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. with thoughts of their vision for scholarly young women of color, maintaining ethical standards, and providing service to all mankind. Concurrently, the Longwood Lecture Hall included sorors who ushered during the showing of Twenty Pearls and the stage was adorned by two lovely AKA balloon towers as attendees anticipated the procession of sorors in organizational and community leadership roles. Hearing the melodious voices of the DSU choir, reflections given by undergraduate sorors, and engaging in words of wisdom provided by the 25th International Supreme Basileus were phenomenal!
